Hello, I am Emily Teague. I am passionate about the work I do with all of my clients. It is my belief that every individual can benefit from caring, non-judgmental and unbiased insight. In my practice, it is my goal to help my clients grow and develop to their highest and healthiest potential.
I am a licensed clinical social worker that specializes in working with adult females and adolescents. I work with clients who are displaying disruptive thoughts and/or behaviors as well as depressive and other isolated behaviors. I work with adult females and adolescents who have experienced trauma and/or abuse and who have a mental health diagnosis such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiance, etc.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. I am also an ordained Minister of Pastoral Counseling and a certified Temperament Counselor.
As a pastoral counselor, I specialize in issues such as anxiety, marital and premarital problems, infidelity, alcohol abuse, addictions, trauma and PTSD, codependency, depression, and parenting. I have a PhD in educational psychology, a Master's degree in professional counseling, and a Bachelor's degree in psychology. I am a licensed professional counselor and mental health service provider. My approach to psychotherapy and counseling consist of client-centered, psychodynamic, cognitive and/or behavioral approaches. This simply means that our sessions will focus on building a genuine nonjudgmental relationship, exploring the past and the present, and understanding how your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and life situations contribute to your strengths and needs. I believe in focusing on the whole person (past, present and future, and physical, cognitive, and emotional). I look forward to working with you and helping you develop a new way of thinking and a better way of living.
