I work with adult females and adolescents who have experienced trauma and/or abuse and who have a mental health diagnosis such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiance, etc.
Hello, I am Dr. C.M. Teague and welcome to my practice. I entered this profession because I believe that everyone can be successful in life with the right support, increased self-awareness and insight that is unique to their life situations. I really enjoy seeing people be successful.
I have a PhD in educational psychology, a Master's degree in professional counseling, and a Bachelor's degree in psychology. I am a licensed professional counselor and mental health service provider. My approach to psychotherapy and counseling consist of client-centered, psychodynamic, cognitive and/or behavioral approaches. This simply means that our sessions will focus on building a genuine nonjudgmental relationship, exploring the past and the present, and understanding how your thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and life situations contribute to your strengths and needs. I believe in focusing on the whole person (past, present and future, and physical, cognitive, and emotional). I look forward to working with you and helping you develop a new way of thinking and a better way of living.
